Hello. I came across your blog because I was looking for paintings by M Legendre. I have a print of the Eiffel Tower which was my uncle’s. I love it, and would be interested in knowing more about the artist and seeing more of his work. Thank you for sharing your pieces.
MY PRINTS LOOK NOTHING LIKE ANY OF THE ONES OF THE ONES IVE SEEN OTHERS HAVE OF MAURICE LEGENDRE, THEY ARE WINTER SCENES, AND ARE BLUEISH COLORS NO BOLD COLORS LIKE ALL THE REST. AND THERE THEY ARE CHURCHES. ANYONE EVRE SEEN THESE TWO?
I have two framed prints – one of Kumigsschloss – Neuschuranstein ( a castle)and the other of Garmisch-Partenkirchen – Fruhlingstrasse (a town in Bavaria) street scene. Both by Maurice Legendre. and the towns are penned in below the print. I really don’t know anything more about these prints – I would definitely sell them. firstname.lastname@example.org

I have 2 paintings by Maurice Legendre circa 1960 I thing ( on the back of the frames it is marked 1960). The paintings are beautiful framed. They measure both 12×10. The first one is named ” Strasbourg La Petite et la Cathedrale ” and the second one is named ” ill Haeusery – Aubergine de I’ll “. Both paitings are beautiful done .. a lot of detail. If anybody is interested in buying I could provide pictures. I can be reached at this e-mail email@example.com
I have a beautiful print of Paris, entitled “Pont Alexandre III” a close up winter’s scene of a bridge over the river Seine, and there is a boat sailing under the bridge. The Eiffel Tower is in the background. It is a rainy day and a couple are sharing an umberella as they walk along the shiny, rain soaked tree lined pavements. The signature looks like Maurice Legendre but there is a little line at the end of the bottom of the ‘e’ of Legendre. Does anyone know this painting and how much it is worth?
